Privacy policy.

How we use the information you share with us.

Applies to the Juristra website. Customers in a pilot or engagement are also covered by the data processing terms in their agreement.

Who we are

This policy explains how Tramarkify Business LLC ("Tramarkify", "we", "us"), the company that operates Juristra, together with its Indian entity, Tramarkify Business Private Limited (CIN U69201MH2024PTC428839), uses personal data collected through this website (juristra.ai). In India, Tramarkify Business Private Limited is the Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"): it decides why and how your personal data is processed. Where this policy says "we", it means whichever of these two companies handles your data.

Status of the law

The DPDP Act and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 ("DPDP Rules") are being brought into force in phases. The provisions that set up the Data Protection Board of India took effect first. The provisions on consent managers follow later. The main duties of Data Fiduciaries and the rights of Data Principals are due to take effect eighteen months after the Rules were notified in November 2025. We follow the practices in this policy now and will meet each requirement as it comes into force. Nothing in this policy limits a right you have under law once it takes effect.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist or write to us, we collect the details you enter: your name, work email, organisation, main practice area and any notes you add. We ask only for what we need to answer you.

Our hosting provider may log technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This site serves its typefaces and scripts from its own servers and does not load fonts or scripts from third parties. It does not use advertising cookies. If you use the sound button on our videos, your browser stores a single setting on your own device (sound on or off) so we can respect your choice. It is not sent to us and is not used to track you. If we add analytics, we will update this policy and ask for consent where the law requires it.

Please do not put confidential or privileged matter information in the contact form. Share documents only after we have agreed the terms of your pilot or engagement.

How we use it

We use your personal data only for these purposes:

  • To manage the waitlist, reply to you and tell you when early access opens, and to arrange a call if you are invited.
  • To keep a record of our business enquiries and relationship with you.
  • To keep the site secure and working.
  • To meet legal obligations.

Our basis for using it

In India, we process the details you enter in the form with your consent under section 6 of the DPDP Act. You give it by ticking the consent box and submitting the form, after reading this notice. Your consent is free, specific, informed and unambiguous, and it covers only the purposes listed above. You may withdraw it at any time, as easily as you gave it, by writing to hello@juristra.ai. Withdrawal does not affect processing already done. We may also process personal data without consent for the legitimate uses listed in section 7 of the DPDP Act, such as meeting a legal obligation. Elsewhere, where the law requires a basis, we rely on your consent, our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We share personal data between Tramarkify Business LLC and Tramarkify Business Private Limited where needed to respond to you. We also share it with processors that help us run the site and our email. They process it only on our behalf, under a contract that binds them to confidentiality and security. We may disclose personal data where the law requires it. We do not sell personal data.

Transfers outside your country

Tramarkify Business LLC is a company outside India and our providers may process data in other countries. We transfer personal data outside India only as the DPDP Act allows, including any restriction the Central Government notifies under section 16. Where the UK or EU GDPR applies, we use the safeguards that law recognises.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for up to 24 months after our last contact, then erase them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. We erase them sooner when you ask, or withdraw consent, unless the law requires us to keep them.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:

  • get a summary of the personal data we process, the processing we carry out and the other parties we have shared it with (section 11);
  • have your personal data corrected, completed or updated, and have it erased (section 12);
  • have your grievance redressed (section 13);
  • nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become unable to (section 14).

You also have duties under section 15, including not to impersonate another person, not to suppress material information and not to file a false or frivolous grievance. Where the UK or EU GDPR applies, you may also have the rights to restrict or object to processing and to data portability. To use a right, write to hello@juristra.ai with the subject "Privacy request". We will reply within the time the law sets. We honour these rights now, even where the DPDP provision is not yet in force.

Grievance redressal

If you have a concern about how we handle your personal data, write to our grievance contact at hello@juristra.ai with the subject "Grievance". We will acknowledge it promptly and respond within the time the law sets. Under section 13(3) of the DPDP Act you must use this grievance process before you approach the Data Protection Board of India. If you are still not satisfied, you may complain to the Board or to your local data protection authority.

Security and breaches

We use reasonable technical and organisational security safeguards to protect the personal data we hold. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. If a personal data breach affects you, we will tell you, and the Data Protection Board of India and other authorities where the law requires, as section 8(6) of the DPDP Act and other applicable law provide.

Children

This site is for business users and is not directed at children. A child is anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from a child, and we do not track or monitor children's behaviour or target advertising at them. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, write to hello@juristra.ai and we will erase it.
